Summer 2017 saw decorative lighting maker Estiluz launching a first space of its own in New York. In 1992, it opened a trading subsidiary in New Jersey, where it has been working hard to boost the company’s position in the North American market. Now, in May this year, it timed its official opening in New York to coincide with the ICFF trade fair.


The showroom is in midtown Manhattan, in one of the busiest parts of the Big Apple. It showcases the Spanish brand’s latest lighting collections, some of its all-time classics and one of its latest prize-winners: pendant lamp Revolta, designed by Nahtrang studio which won Best Lightweight Suspension Lamp at the prestigious NYCxDESIGN awards in 2017. Also on display are products by Spanish brand El Torrent, the other brand Estiluz distributes in the USA.


Estiluz has been designing and manufacturing high-end decorative lighting in a contemporary design style since 1969. The brand has teamed up with top names like Francesc Rifé, Gabriel Teixidó, Jordi Blasi, Crous Calogero, Estudi Ribaudí and Nahtrag and its lamps can be found in facilities like Hotel Hilton Gdansk (Poland) and Hotel Crown Plaza Gatwick London (UK).
