Appartamento Spagnolo in Milan 2022
We’re kicking of the year filled with anticipation, eager to unveil the upcoming fairs and events we’ll be part of in the next six months. Get ready to explore the latest design innovations from Spain’s most globally recognized brands.
In April, coinciding with the Milan Design Week, we are organizing the 2nd edition of “Appartamento Spagnolo”. From April 16 to 21, join us at Palazzo Castiglioni, where, in collaboration with Elle Decor Italia and the renowned architecture firm DWA Design Studio, we’ll bring to life a residence adorned with products from eighteen leading Spanish brands in furniture, lighting, rugs, bathroom fixtures, tiles, kitchenware, and decorative accessories.
In late April, we’ll make our presence felt in Las Vegas for the 31st edition of the Hospitality & Design Expo (HD Expo), which will open to the public from April 30 to May 2 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. This year marks our twentieth consecutive participation in an event that attracts global interior designers, decorators, and hotel chains for their hospitality projects. On April 30, we are sponsoring the 20th-anniversary ceremony for the HD Awards—an event making its Las Vegas debut at the close of the inaugural day of the HD Expo.
On May 23rd, we return to Berlin, captivating German architects and interior designers with a Spanish design exhibition hosted at the Spanish Embassy in the German capital. This showcase will be accompanied by conferences on Spanish design. That same month, we are gearing up for a groundbreaking Networking event in Saudi Arabia for Spanish manufacturers of habitat products and prominent architecture and interior design studios in the country.
In June, immerse yourself in the best Spanish design in Denmark, China, and Dubai. We kick off the month in Copenhagen, hosting a Spanish product design exhibition at the Odd Fellow Palace from June 12 to 14, coinciding with 3daysofdesign, Denmark’s premier design event since 2012.
From June 19 to 22, we’ll once again touch down in Shanghai with a Spain Pavilion at the Design Shanghai trade fair—an influential international design event in Asia. Lastly, for the second consecutive year, we’re set to organize a networking event, bringing together Spanish habitat companies with architects, interior designers, and dealers from the UAE at Chef José Andrés’s Spanish restaurant Jaleo in Dubai.
You are invited to participate in these events, and we encourage you to follow us on our Instagram page where you will find live information on these activities.
Creating green spaces all over the world.
Personal, honest products that improve our environment.
Last year, the University of Montevideo opened its new School of Engineering (FIUM). The interior design project for this spacious and modern building was carried out by the Uruguayan studio Dovat Arquitectos, and the Enea furniture that furnished it was supplied by the Spanish company's distributor in Uruguay.
This School is located in the LATU (Technological Laboratory of Uruguay) technological park and has 2920m2 of space over three floors. The spacious waiting, café, and outdoor areas were decorated with Enea's designer furniture.
The KUBIKA bench designed by Estudi Manel Molina was selected to adorn the School’s waiting areas. Thanks to its modular seating with or without backrests, it allows infinite configurations so that students can work in groups or take a final look at their notes. The polypropylene OH! armchair created by Gabriel Teixidó and the COMA 4L stool, designed by Lluscà Design, were also used in this space.
In the same area, professors can meet and work as a team in a functional environment thanks to the LTS System table with wooden legs and the NOA chair by Estudi Manel Molina, with an upholstered seat pad for greater comfort. In addition, the OH! PATIN armchair with front upholstery for more comfortable seating, is for those more personal moments to finish planning a lesson or simply escape until the next class.
The café features the NOA stool, a mustard-colored polypropylene seat and backrest that brings comfort and style to a space where you can have a snack before the next class or a mid-morning coffee to recharge your batteries.
And on the building's terrace, we find the STREET chair with armrests by Estudi Manel Molina along with the LOTTUS AL table created by Lievore Altherr Molina, which come together in a pleasant environment where you can relax after a long day of studying, rest after a tough exam, or share a meal with classmates, weather permitting.
