Stua's latest product: its Eclipse tables

The Eclipse range, designed by Jon Gasca from the Stua team, brings the traditional nesting table idea bang up to date. It comprises four tables in different pebble-like shapes and sizes and comes in various heights. Like an eclipse, from which the design takes its name, the smallest tables can be tucked under the larger ones and concealed. The tables can be positioned in a multitude of configurations, making them versatile, fluid and unique –and equally suited to domestic and public spaces.

Eclipse is an extremely practical, appealingly contemporary design available in five wood finishes: maple, beech, walnut, oak, wenge and white. Its main attraction is its strong character and ingenious, open-ended versatility.

In 2008, Stua won the Premio Nacional de Diseño (Spain’s National Design Prize). The most prestigious distinction of its kind in Spain, it is awarded by the country’s Ministry of Science and Innovation to companies which it believes successfully deploy design as part of their commitment to innovation.
