Chess –Ofita’s new product
Ofita is a company which never ceases to surprise. And it has done so once again with its highly original filing system called Chess.
Chess is a filing system partitioned into spaces which are polyvalent and modular. Since its boxy modules are stackable and come in a broad spectrum of colours, they can be arranged in all sorts of configurations. The piece’s versatility – the modules can be stacked to resemble stairs, a tower or a wall – makes it suitable for a whole variety of settings, from the very formal to the very informal.
What’s more, there are other options: the modules can be transparent, can have hinged doors, several drawers or just two. Chess also has are a number of different types of bases: with hidden, height-adjustable feet and four-sided aluminium legs or legs with castors.
Ofita, one of Spain’s leading office equipment companies, has been a pioneering firm in terms of quality, security and environmentally friendly design; indeed it has earned itself a certificate for eco design in recognition of the effort it has made in developing a new generation of office furniture which meets criteria for creating sustainable design.
The company is currently developing equipment for banking firms, insurance companies, telephone and car companies as well as for ministries, embassies and offices in Europe, the Middle East, South America and the Caribbean.
