Macalula is a young, multidisciplinary design studio created in 2006, as a response to a need to design differently and create new styles of living. The macalula essence lies in a reasonable balance between practicality and emotion, aiming to surprise the eye and focusing on attention to detail, to create the most sensitive and loving objects. The unusual make-up of its team from industrial and interior design, and graphic and fine arts, allows them to bring the best solutions to the needs of the market. They have designed publications, visual campaigns, brands and corporate websites, and most recently, the Embolic lamp collection for Spanish company Ona.
