Workstation and storage units for Stewarts Law
Londres (United Kingdom)
27 January 2010
Company: Sellex
Product/Designer: Kubrik, Hanka and Jakin collections
Contract furniture and public seating manufacturer Sellex has refurbished the London office of law firm Stewarts Law. A litigation company that also has offices in Leeds, it needed workstations and storage units for its 8,000 sq m head office in New Street Square, in the historic centre of the capital.
Stewarts chose products from several of Sellex´s ranges, all of which were customized for the law firm. These are Sellex’s Kubrik bookcases by Item Diseño, Hanka tables by Estudi Blanc and Jakin shelving by Abad Diseño. Stewarts wanted a smart, contemporary look, choosing a neutral palette with occasional bursts of colour, as well as glass partitions so light floods into the offices.
Sellex was founded in San Sebastián in northeast Spain in 1977; its initial aim was to make furniture for the home. By the 1990s it began designing for the contract market. Today, Sellex undertakes a vast number of projects. Indeed its ergonomic, hard-wearing and consistently stylish furniture graces airports, train stations, bus stations, universities, town halls, hospitals, company headquarters and museums all over the world.
