CARMENES specialise in upholstery and the creation of sofas, couches, armchairs, chairs and poufs, with their origins in the Perobell brand which dates back more than three decades. Since 2005, they have been creating contemporary designer furniture from premium quality materials, combining state-of-the-art technology with the delicate craftsmanship of their artisans.

Aware of the importance of design, CARMENES have teamed up with prestigious designers and new talent like Jorge Pensi, Francesc Rifé, Lievore Altherr, Lluis Codina, Héctor Diego, Samuel Accoceberrty, Arnau-Reyna and La Mamba, to develop innovative new pieces defined by elegance, comfort and practicality. The end result is a lasting product, based on the principles of tailoring and cabinet-making to stand the test of time.

The company’s latest collection is Easy Living 01, designed to create moments of happiness, tranquillity and relaxation, both at home and in the public space. Iconic products include furniture line Sam and Bud designed by Francesc Rifé, the Majestic sofa and side tables, the Heritage sideboard and the Downtown table collection created by studio La Mamba, and Norman armchair and the Numeral family created by Arnau-Reyna.

Carmenes products can be found in all kinds of projects, from the exclusive lounges of airline Avianca at Bogota’s El Dorado airport, to chef Ricard Camarena’s new restaurant in the heart of the former Bombas Gens factory in Valencia.

Carmenes seek to be a global brand and generate their own design discourse in any space, whether home or contract, with top-quality, high-performance products made from the finest materials. Exports currently account for 65% of turnover.
