Spanish outdoor designer furniture maker Kettal has just opened a showroom in New York in an annex of the D&D Building in midtown Manhattan.
The company’s new space has an exhibition area of more than 600sqm showcasing all the collections from their latest catalogue. The company’s design team have maintained the showroom’s white walls, floors and ceilings to maximise light and enhance Kettal’s colourful products. Outside, a spacious terrace with courtyard is decorated with Kettal pieces and features a pavilion in wood and glass in the style of a conservatory.
Kettal is currently working with prestigious international designers like Patricia Urquiola, Jasper Morrison, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Rodolfo Dordoni, Doshi Levien, Hella Jongerlius, Konstantin Grcic and Emiliana Design studio, some of whom have products on show here in New York.
Based in Barcelona, the company operates in more than 80 countries and has its own showrooms in Miami, London, Paris, Barcelona and Marbella. It has its own factory in the Spanish city of Tarragona, enabling it to maintain the highest European quality standards by carefully controlling every aspect of the production process.
