This past November 26th, the Valencia-based company Gandía Blasco Group inaugurated its new store in Dubai, the iconic city on the shores of the Persian Gulf. The showroom opened in an exclusive atmosphere surrounded by various personalities from the world of design and industry businesspeople, as part of the calendar of activities scheduled for Dubai Design Week.
The showroom, which is 200 meters square and located in the city's Design District, is based in the premises of the Finasi brand, one of the region's largest distributors of furniture from Italian and Spanish designers. It includes the Gandía Blasco and Diabla brand outdoor furniture collections and GAN brand rugs and textile decorations, presented across the store's first floor and urban patios.
In the Finasi space visitors will find the latest Gandía Blasco creations from this year, including the expanded SOLANAS collection designed by Daniel Germani in a metallic gold color and the latest DIABLA designs, including the TOUFFU dog houses, designed by Manel Jiménez and Violeta Alcaide, and the PLISY portable outdoor light, created by Alejandra Gandía-Blasco.
The showroom established in Dubai is the first major element of the group's international expansion into the United Arab Emirates, a market which the company describes as presenting "huge potential" and "enormous opportunities for growth".
