The Spanish multinational is further consolidating its presence in North America, where it already has close to 70 of its own establishments.
The Cosentino Group, a world leader in the production and distribution of innovative and sustainable surfaces for architecture and design, is expanding its network of “Cities” in the US, with two Cosentino Cities in Chicago and Atlanta.
These two new spaces, inaugurated in July and October 2021, join the other four showrooms that the company owns in the United States in the cities of New York, San Francisco, Miami, and Los Angeles.
Cosentino City in Chicago, with almost 500m2 of floor space, is located in the River North Gallery District, the epicenter of the city’s art and design world. And Cosentino City Atlanta, with a surface area of almost 400m2, is located in the Buckhead Village district. Both spaces present the renewed showroom 2.0 concept developed by the firm for the first time in the United States, a concept that was already present in other recent openings in Barcelona, Amsterdam, Tel Aviv and Mallorca.
In these 2.0 showrooms, digitization and the use of cutting-edge technology play an essential role. This new-generation model offers anyone immersed in an architectural and decorative project a better experience with materials to inspire and create. Digitalization, personalized attention and a 360° vision of the projects mark the City experience, through spaces and tools such as the “Atelier”, a workshop and a complete library of materials, where Cosentino surfaces are mixed with other products; the “Digital Experience,” a large vertical surface where the user can design complete kitchen, bathroom, and facade environments in 3D using augmented reality; different digital displays or a fully functional kitchen for hosting events and showcookings.
With these two openings, the Spanish multinational has further consolidated its presence in the North American market and now has almost 70 of its own establishments spread throughout the United States and Canada: 45 “Cosentino Centers” or full-service warehouses (39 in the U.S. and 6 in Canada); 7 “Cosentino Cities” (five in the U.S. and two in Canada), in addition to 12 surface transformation and processing factories, and 3 large logistics hubs. The next “Cities” in North America are expected to land in Washington and Vancouver.
The Cosentino Group distributes its innovative products and brands in more than 110 countries from its headquarters in Almeria, Spain. Currently the multinational is established in 40 countries, and has subsidiaries or its own commercial assets in 30 of them. The multinational has eight production plants (7 in Almeria, Spain, and 1 in Brazil), an Intelligent Logistics Center in Spain, and more than 140 commercial and distribution facilities around the world. More than 90% of the Cosentino Group’s turnover is generated in international markets.
