Francisco Jover is a family-owned company that has been making fabrics since 1965 for the home decoration and contract markets. Their textiles are manufactured at their factory in Cocentaina near Alcoy in Alicante (Spain). The Jover Group is made up of the following brands: Jover, In&Out Outdoor Collection by Jover, Contract by Jover, KA International and Maison Decor.
Jover is a brand that creates separate fabric collections for interior design, mainly for curtains and sheer curtains, upholstery, and bedding. The designs of the fabrics – both for solid colours and patterns – are avant-garde. In addition, the most cutting-edge technical properties applied in the production of these materials mean that they can be non-flammable, washable, waterproof, stain resistant, or have protection against UV rays. Sound-absorbing textiles will be launched by the company in the near future. The fabrics by the brand In&Out Outdoor Collection by Jover are renowned for their colour fastness and not fading in sunlight. Particularly suitable for outdoor use, they come with a 3-year warranty. Last but not least, the brand Contract by Jover specialises in manufacturing technical fabrics for contract projects and other uses. The collections, which include fire retardant fabrics, can be used for interior and exterior design, and comply with strict Spanish and international regulations that apply to fabrics to be used in public places.
In 2015, the Jover Group took a qualitative leap forward in its textile business by acquiring KA International and Maison Decor, leading brands in the high design sector since 1984.
Francisco Jover works indirectly on large projects for well-known national and international hotel chains via a wide-ranging network of partners in the contract sector. As a vertically integrated textile manufacturer, the processes of weaving, dyeing, printing and finishing are carried out at its own facilities, it can adapt to the particular needs of each and every project, and develop ‘made-to-measure’ products with a minimum order quantity (MOQ).
This past 8 March, the Jover Group won the 2018 Sustainability Award from the Textile Industry Research Association, AITEX. This prize rewards our environmental management and the efforts we have made in recent years to develop sustainable products and processes that leave an environmental footprint that is as small as possible. We have significantly reduced the water consumption of our production processes and, furthermore, all water is purified and treated. At Jover we produce renewable energy that is equivalent to 73% of our heating and electrical consumption. This year we have introduced collections that use recycled polyester spun from PET waste (plastic bottles).
The Jover Group’s factory covers more than 29,000 square metres and is equipped with the latest technology. Some 4,500 references make up the company’s product catalogue, available worldwide 24/7 via the B2B platform ‘JoverDecó’. Around 40% of its turnover comes from exports to customers all over the world, either through distributors or via direct sale. The main markets are the European Union, the Middle East and North Africa. KA International has over 150 franchises, half of which are abroad.
