We are hosting exhibitions in December in Tokyo and Paris to showcase the contributions of 20 Spanish companies in the fields of furniture, lighting, tiles, and decorative accessories.
From the 13th to the 15th, the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo will host an exhibition where 13 Spanish design habitat companies will take part, as well as a series of conferences with Japanese studios and the Spanish design studio Lagranja Design. The exhibition will be curated and designed by the Japanese architecture and interior design firm Environmental Planning Laboratory (EPL). The exhibition concept around which the show will revolve is "Siesta Shift," the Spanish "siesta" as a way of "designing time" or "designing your day." The furniture, lighting and other Spanish products that will be displayed at the Embassy represent a new design of time, combining two areas in the exhibition: one for "Relaxation" and the other for "Activation."
In parallel, from the 14th to the 15th of the same month, we are hosting, for the fourth time in Paris, an exhibition featuring Spanish design products from seven companies. This event is tailored for French architects and interior designers and is titled “¡Casa España!” The exhibition, curated by the French magazine À Vivre, specializing in architecture and exterior design, will take place at the luxurious “Ville Emerige”, located at 7 Rue Robart Turquan, in a residential district of western Paris. “¡Casa España!” is centered around a residential project, showcasing the innovative solutions and expertise of Spanish designers, illustrating their profound impact on the art of living. The project will unveil continuous solutions addressing evolving concepts in the rapidly changing hospitality, office, and outdoor sectors. The event, characterized by its highly interactive setup, offers a platform for networking and material exploration. Attendance is by invitation only.
You are invited to follow these two on our Instagram account, where you will find live information on these activities.
