In a social landscape increasingly geared toward reconnecting with nature, leading companies are taking an innovative approach to creating work environments that reflect this fundamental link. One prominent example is Ottobock, the world's leading firm in solutions for people with reduced mobility, which has brought this philosophy to its offices in Austin, Texas. The project is being carried out together with the Spanish lighting company Estiluz and the interior design firm Planning Design Research. 


In this context, the CIRC suspension lamp, designed by Nahtrang for Estiluz, emerges as a key piece to materialize this vision. Its sleek, modern design not only illuminates spaces, but also adds a touch of freshness and modernity, blending perfectly with the green surroundings that define Ottobock's offices.

 

Biophilia, the necessary union of human beings with nature, becomes the central axis of this design, where plants not only decorate, but also transform spaces into healthier and more stimulating work areas. A clear example of this is the perfect symbiosis between the ceiling planters and the CIRC suspended chandelier that brings freshness and innovation to the interior of the space. 


The CIRC Lamp is a unique piece, with two rings of light of different sizes and heights, this suspended chandelier adds a touch of modern elegance to any space. In addition, the versatility of the CIRC Lamp is amplified by the fact that it can be combined with other Estiluz creations, such as Laverd and Aro, options especially designed for large spaces and high ceilings.


Planning Design Research, a renowned interior design firm, has been in charge of the conceptualization and execution of a space that blends functionality, aesthetics and connection with nature. Their commitment to design excellence has contributed to the creation of an inspiring and revitalizing work environment for Ottobock employees. This collaboration demonstrates their long-standing expertise in healthcare facility design, particularly in projects that combine healthcare, innovation and technology, and reinforces their focus on creating spaces that prioritize comfort and productivity.
