The interior design studio C'est Ici Design has chosen luminaire designs from the Spanish company Vibia to illuminate its new offices in Dubai (UAE), creating a space to show clients the creativity at the heart of its work. The 167 m² project includes a variety of spaces that range from a reception area to private and shared workspaces, a meeting room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a sample selection area.

 

For the studio's founder, Mónica Arango, the new office is a true reflection of the company’s style, defined by the creative energy of people working and collaborating in it. This essence is woven into every aspect of the project, from the natural lighting to the generous workstations. The designers thus interact in both formal and informal settings, while the lighting sets the tone in the shared kitchen and the more formal reception area through custom configurations tailored to the space. Luminaires with a playful, sculptural presence illuminate the workspaces, sparking inspiration and conversation.

 

Three hanging FLAMINGO lamps by Antoni Arola can be found in the seating area with a coffee table that defines the reception area. As clients and employees enter the office, they are greeted by the dimmable lamps with disc-shaped diffusers and metallic counterweights. Their crisp white sculptural forms, combined with gold accents, add a decorative touch to the space.

 

In the kitchen area we find the PLUSMINUS lighting installation, in earth tones that complement the marble table and upholstered stools. Designed by Diez Office, the collection allows interior designers to tailor the lighting system to any space. From a ceiling-mounted rail, a ribbon descends, featuring four spheres of varying sizes to illuminate the work surface. The combination of bright light and fabric ribbon creates a cozy, warm atmosphere that evokes the comfort of home.

 

The AFRICA portable luminaire in the workspaces features a sleek body and angled beam, with an intriguing conical shape that invites interaction. Designed by Francisco Gómez Paz, this versatile lamp can be easily repositioned to accommodate specific needs and assist with sample selection. Its color, texture, and dimensions add a delightful touch to the otherwise understated office furniture.
