This year, U.S. design magazine Interior Design has honored Spanish talent at the NYCxDesign Awards 2025, awarding three prizes to the companies Estiluz, iSiMAR, and Gan. Seven other Spanish firms were also named finalists at this prestigious event, showcasing the international impact of Spanish design.
Estiluz received the award for the TIK lamp series by Boti, Dominicis Studio, in the “Outdoor Products” category with its clean lines and technical materials, enabling a modular design that adds a sculptural quality to outdoor spaces.
In the “Outdoor Seating” category, iSiMAR’s HABANA collection, designed by Gensler, took top honors. These modular armchairs and sofas, inspired by Cuban architecture, combine durability with luxurious elegance.
Gan’s MOMOS collection of rugs, poufs, and cushions won the “Greater Good” award, recognized for its artisanal craftsmanship and hypnotic color palette created by José A. Gandía-Blasco.
In addition to the winners, the following Spanish companies were finalists in their respective categories: Lladró in “Accessories” for the porcelain sculpture SOUL RIDER and the CASCADE chandelier; Santa & Cole for the CESTA lamp in “Iconic Product”; Expormim for the OBI and CADENZA furniture collections in “Outdoor Furniture Collection” and “Residential Lounge Collection”, respectively; Estiluz for the BELT lamp and Vibia for ARRAY in the “Pendant Fixture” category; LZF Lamps for the CANDELA sconce; Gan for the BOTANICA rug in “Residential Rug & Carpet”; Cosentino with SILESTONE XM LE CHIC BOHÈME in “Architectural Products”; and L’Antic Colonial (a Grupo Porcelanosa brand) for GEO TILE in “Tile + Stone Wall Covering”.
