Nine Spanish brands have been honored with an “Archiproducts Design Awards” this year, and two of them—Gandía Blasco and Gan —earned an additional distinction by winning a “Sustainability Award”, which recognizes the use of eco-friendly materials in product manufacturing. These awards, presented annually by the digital design platform Archiproducts, celebrate the best designs featured on the site throughout the year.
In the Lighting category, Vibia was recognized for its CIRCUS pendant lamp, designed by Antoni Arola, while Lladró won for CASCADE, a handcrafted porcelain light fixture created by Lee Broom.
In Outdoor, Gandía Blasco took home two awards: one for the DUNNE garden armchair by Nao Tamura, and another for the HOS garden armchair with footrest by Kengo Kuma, which also received a Sustainability Award. iSiMAR earned a prize for CABANA, a galvanized steel divider designed by Gensler. In Furniture, Uneven Objects has been recognized for its upholstered fabric chair TACTO.
In the Bathroom category, the WAVE rectangular shower tray by Fiora, designed by Yonoh Studio, and Roca’s AVANT wall-hung monoblock toilet were both awarded. In Decor, the wool rug MOMOS by José Antonio Gandía-Blasco for Gan won an award and a Sustainability Award, while in Finishes, Neolith’s VICTORIA kitchen countertop was also honored.
Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola received three awards: for a rectangular dining table and vase for RIVA by Cimento, and for the OPALIA glass table for Glas Italia. Designer Ximo Roca was also recognized for the armless upholstered chair SEXY MEET for Quinti and the Spanish studio Stone Designs received another for the BOKU lounge chair for the Japanese brand Adal.
Archiproducts, one of Europe’s leading digital design platforms, organizes these prestigious awards. Since 2021, ICEX–Interiors from Spain has negotiated preferential rates for Spanish companies on digital marketing and BIM modeling packages, as long as they are Archiproducts members, aiming to boost the international visibility of Spain’s habitat sector.
