46 Brands and 27 Spanish Design Studios Win an iF Design Award 2026

The iF Design Awards have recognized the best international talent and innovation since 1954. This year, 46 Spanish companies and 27 Spanish design studios have received this award. Two of them have received an iF Gold: Error Brewing Co for the NEIPA-style beer designed by Dsigntank and Series Nemo in the  “Packaging Design–Beverages Packaging” category and Asea Brown Boveri for the sustainable switch program Vega & Alter Vega in the category: “Product Design–Building Technology”.

The award-winning lighting pieces this year include the pendant lamp Medusa by Olé Lighting, the Solid family of luminaires by B.lux, the Twin spotlights designed by Jorge Herrera Studio for Ledsc4, the Tile desk lamp by Idea Design and the table lamp 01 created by studio Juanita's for Stac Design.

In the field of furniture, awards have been given to the June chair designed by Carrasco Barceló for Resol, and the Carreu series of five candles by Cerabella. In the office category “Product Design–Office/Stationery”, the Oswell seating system devised by Nacar Design for Inclass has been honored, along with the Iggy chair by Patrick Norguet for Mobboli.

The bathroom sector also had a notable presence; the smart toilet collections In-Wash Litha by Nacar Design and In-Wash Vorea by Mathias Hahn for Roca Sanitario were awarded in the “Product Design–Bath” category, as were the Brisse shower enclosures by Profiltek and the Acqua Zero shower tray by Acquabella.

Textiles, coverings, and tableware and kitchenware also demonstrate their ability to innovate in materials. The new outdoor textile collection Cala, designed by Santiago Sevillano for Agora, the modular acoustic system Cell®, developed by Summumstudio for Ideatec Advanced Acoustic Solutions and the multifunctional panel Redoit conceived by Taqta Projects for Kendu Retail are a clear example of this, with their awards in the Product Design–Textiles/Wall/Floor category. And in the kitchen and tableware category, Teka’s coffee maker or the iconic Samoa series of pots and pans created by Arcos Hermanos expand the range of Spanish winners in these categories. 

Finally, it is worth highlighting the Nacar Design studio, winner of four awards, and the Lúcid design agency, awarded three honors. 

With nearly 10,000 entries from 68 countries, the jury for these awards gave special consideration to sustainability, among the submissions, as one of the essential values in product innovation.
