The Spanish furniture brand Point has unveiled two of its latest exclusive international projects in the Dominican Republic and Morocco.
In 2024, the Arena Beach Club, part of the Westin Puntacana Resort & Club, was transformed into a sophisticated outdoor space where luxury design meets the Caribbean's natural beauty. Under the direction of the Adriana Hoyos Design Studio, POINT contributed the Weave collection by Vicente Martínez, featuring elegant chairs and armchairs, and tables from the Colors series by Gabriel Teixidó, pieces that add a contemporary flair to the expansive beachfront terrace. The result is a refined oasis, where guests can enjoy the Caribbean breeze and savor unforgettable culinary experiences in a setting that combines comfort and style.
In Morocco, nestled between the historic Medina and the modern Ville Nouvelle of Marrakech, the Four Seasons Resort offers a fusion of traditional Moroccan architecture and contemporary interior design. Point helped achieve this harmonious balance by providing its Paralel collection of loungers and armchairs for the relaxation areas, Khai chairs and Weave tables for the outdoor dining spaces, and Pal sofas and loungers sofas and loungers for the private terraces. Designers like Gabriel Teixidó, Francesc Rifé, Vicent Martínez, and Point Studio itself have transformed each space into a serene retreat, where function meets the lush beauty of the resort’s gardens and pools.
These two projects exemplify Point’s commitment to outdoor design. Their collections merge durable materials with contemporary aesthetics and are designed to blend into a variety of landscapes and challenging climates. From the Caribbean to the heart of Marrakech, the Spanish brand continues to expand its global footprint, proving that outdoor furniture can be a source of comfort, a design statement, and an expression of a location's cultural identity all at once.
