Stone-effect tiles are growing in popularity as we see a move away from the trend for clean minimalism towards a much softer aesthetic.

MARBLE

There was a huge trend this year for marble. The marble collections, chiefly targeted at Russian and Arab markets, either had a contemporary or classical look.

RELIEFS AND DECORATIVE PIECES

Spanish tile manufacturers are also currently playing with fluid-looking and tactile surfaces to give more texture and a sense of movement to their collections.

BLOCK COLOUR
Another major trend – one which mirrors a big trend in fashion this summer – was for bold colour-blocking in shades like red, green, blue and orange.

WOOD

Various manufacturers launched collections of ceramics mimicking wood, notably Grespania, Vives, Gayafores and Natucer.
