.annud emerged in mid-2019 as a natural evolution of a family business: Dunna Silleros. Rooted in Valencian craftsmanship, Dunna was founded by Francisco Galindo in 1921, providing enduring furniture solutions for nearly a century. As so often happens with family projects, with the introduction of new people with fresh perspectives and ideas, and following internal and external analyses, the decision was made to undergo a radical transformation, leading to the creation of .annud.
Embedded within the DNA of this new brand is a drive for evolution, exemplified by its editorial strategy: seeking to identify emerging needs and tackle them with creativity and efficiency.
Situated in the creative and productive hub of Valencia, brimming with outstanding suppliers, they collaborate closely to deliver top-quality products. Their production model enables orderly growth, with manufacturing and design rooted entirely in Valencia – a local aesthetic that now boasts global allure more than ever.
Designing culture
“Designing Culture” is the company's motto, and it is for a reason. They view design as a cultural ethos, an internal language that influences all their processes and forces them to scrutinize every aspect. In turn, they champion the revival of Valencia’s productive and artisanal heritage, embodying a local culture with minimal environmental impact.
This is the mindset that infuses .annud’s processes, striving to convey freshness and honesty through unique collections and individual pieces. Their solutions are consistently driven by creativity, setting them apart as a brand.
Additionally, they partner with external designers to enhance their creative process, resulting in pieces that bear both the brand’s signature and the designer’s mark. So far, they have collaborated exclusively with established Valencian designers and emerging talents like Arnau Reyna, Santiago Sevillano, Clap Studio, and Bambú Studio. As a creative company, they value surrounding themselves with professionals from diverse backgrounds and experiences within the industry.
Product highlights
.annud embodies its evolution and expertise in unique pieces that radiate both youthfulness and nostalgia, seamlessly bridging the past and the future. Their team comprises individuals from diverse technical and artistic backgrounds, each contributing a range of sensitivities from design inception to execution on stage.
The brand finds a well-balanced blend within its collections, notably the Balloon furniture collection, designed by Clap Studio. Since its debut in 2020, it has emerged as an iconic representation of the brand. Additionally, one of their most successful collections, and their latest unveiling, is the Offo modular system by Arnau Reyna.
Product marketing
With the aid of existing tools, the company effectively communicates with clients worldwide, ensuring tracking and control of their marketing activities. They also leverage initiatives like those organized by ICEX to showcase their products to potential clients in different markets.
Dedicated to fostering trusted commercial relationships with their clients, they have specialized representatives in each market. Their recurring clients are primarily specialized distributors or key influencers, which is why they maintain a presence on major digital platforms in the sector like Archiproducts.
Internationalization
.annud has achieved a significant level of internationalization, evident not only from the countries where they’ve completed projects but also from the multitude of inquiries they receive from untapped markets.
With 70% of their business conducted abroad, their commitment to international expansion is evident. France and the United Kingdom are currently their primary markets. They’ve recently expanded into the Baltic countries and Southeast Asia, noting a surge in interest from both the United States and Canada.
Despite the year-long pause due to the Covid pandemic, in their four years of operation, they've successfully executed projects in France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Israel, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, and others. Notably, they cherish their inaugural major project for a hotel chain in Greece.
Back home in Spain, they’ve left their mark with projects such as the striking Ostras Sorlut stand by Welcome Design in the Canalejas Gallery in Madrid and Martín Berasategui’s prestigious restaurant (3 Michelin stars) in Lasarte.
