It furnishes exclusive restaurant Frame, which boasts spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower.
The Flex collection of chairs, designed by Piergiorgio Cazzaniga for Spanish company Andreu World, has been chosen to furnish one of Paris’s most upscale restaurants — Frame — in the elegant, four-star Hotel Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower, which has been refurbished this year. The hotel is prestigiously located on the Left Bank of the river Seine, only metres away from the Eiffel Tower.
Flex was selected because it’s very functional, hard-wearing and versatile. The chairs chosen are in red and black, which harmonise well in the two areas they are in — a large meeting room and Frame’s glamorous dining area, which boasts fabulous views of the Eiffel Tower. These chairs come with or without arms and have four steel legs finished in high-gloss chrome, which make them look very elegant and structurally very strong.
Flex is a functional, ergonomic, versatile chair specially designed for prolonged use in public spaces. It has received several international awards, such as the prestigious Red Dot prize in 2013 for best product design and the Gold award for the best chair in the ‘Conference Seating’ category, given at the NeoCon fair in Chicago this year.
Andreu World was founded in 1955 in the Valencian area of Alaquàs. Since then, it has made cutting-edge furniture in collaboration with prestigious, internationally renowned designers. It currently exports 60 per cent of its goods, and has a commercial presence throughout the world, for example, in New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Japan, Mexico, Argentina and the US, among other countries.
