We’ve all been hard-wired to expect basins to be made from cold, white vitreous china. It’s certainly a material that’s stood the test of time,   but BO!NG would like us to open our minds to a new world of soft, flexible, colourful basins. It might seem a strange idea, but BO!NG basins are hard-wearing and practical, as well as fun and attractive. They’ll certainly make children want to wash their hands and faces at every opportunity...

Made from PUR, a flexible polyeurethane, these contemporary basins are proving popular with families, because if children fall against them they won’t be hurt. They are also a good option for hotels and nightclubs wanting to make a strong design statement.

The polyeurethane material has the properites of vitreous china. It has no surface porosity, and doesn’t absorb water. It’s easy to keep clean using a mild detergent.

It withstands extremes of temperatures (from 70 degrees C down to -30 degrees C), and the colour won’t fade. The shapes are formed so there aren’t crevices where dirt can accumulate, while the material is not affected by bleach, ammonia, hair dyes, nor will it be damaged in the unlikely event of a lighted cigarette touching it. (That said, as common sense would suggest, products are not indestructible.) The BO!NG range includes shower bases and shelving.
