Cabanes unveils Nesso

An ergonomic, sustainable outdoor furniture collection.

The Spanish outdoor and garden furniture firm Cabanes has just launched its innovative Nesso collection – a range that’s ergonomic and accessible and designed to cut down on energy consumption.

This comprises armchairs, benches, sun loungers, planters and pergolas, all suitable both for indoors and outdoor spaces where it’s crucial that products are robust and durable. The collection’s simplified construction and use, without the need for welding, of steel and aluminium – a key feature of the pieces’ structure – mean that Nesso’s forms are elegantly light and ethereal.

For the company, bringing together such wide-ranging factors as sustainability, accessibility, slender forms and ergonomic quaities represented a genuine challenge in terms of creativity and innovation. Cabanes’s aim has been to produce a collection that balances practical needs, aesthetics, structurally sound design and functionality, while also evoking feelings and perceptions drawn from human experiences, and creating spaces accessible to everyone.

Founded in 1994, Cabanes has contributed to many street furniture projects in Spain, Germany, Belgium, Portugal, Lithuania and Greece, while a selection of Cabanes’s products are displayed in the Portillo Estudio showroom in Beijing, China.
