Costa Este unveils a home & contract collection

Textiles inspired by London.

Costa Este collection, which specialises in the design and manufacture of textiles, has unveiled its new “Welcome Collection”, inspired by the British capital. It is created and hand-woven on the company’s looms at La Garriga near Barcelona.

Costa Este comprises various collections that fuse the style of one of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities with the warmth and wellbeing typified by the Mediterranean lifestyle. Ideal for interior design projects, the collection’s natural textures are combined with funky designs and bright colours, such as red and blue, which recall the British Union Jack.

Founded over 50 years ago, Costa Este has always focused on producing collections of on-trend fabrics, woven textiles and high-tech fabrics. It uses the most cutting-edge manufacturing techniques when making its broad spectrum of products, which encompass upholstery fabrics, textiles and curtains. Costa Este designs are present in over 50 countries all over the world and in over 14,000 sales outlets. It also has its own subsidiaries in Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Russia and Cuba.

The company currently has 310 employees and its factory, which occupies more than 44,000sq m, incorporates the entire manufacturing process: making threads, warping, weaving, finishing and presenting the products for quality control.
