A pixellated design on eco fabrics.
Notable among the latest collections of Spanish firm Teixidors, based in Terrassa near Barcelona, is its fully developed collaboration with renowned designer Cristian Zuzunaga. Called Integrate: Time and Space, it’s an exclusive range of homeware designed by Zuzunaga in London and hand-woven by Teixidors.
With its pixellated pattern – a hallmark of Zuzunaga’s work – this fabric, entirely woven from environmentally friendly merino wool, features eight by eight colour combinations designed to transform a digital image into a real one.
The collaboration between designer and company worked out perfectly because both shared the same objectives when designing the products, namely a search for the hand-crafted, authentic and eco.
Teixidors’s other new collections come in ecological, Spanish wool, lightweight cashmere and linen. All share characteristics typical of this brand: a use of exclusive and featherlight fabrics, new colours and manufacturing processes that are guaranteed to be eco.
We integrate architecture, branding, and product design into one coherent, cross-cutting vision
