A food container produced by the company Omelette-ed.
The Dalton food container is Valencia-based design studio La Mamba’s new product, created for the young homeware manufacturer Omelette-ed.
Dalton is a new collection of food containers that are reinterpretations and adaptations of old-fashioned sweet jars. Their distinguishing features are their unusual openings as well as their sleek lines which mean they go well in any style of interior as decorative pieces, not to mention as functional objects. The 20º angle of their upper part, which recalls a tree branch, makes the containers more ergonomic when it comes to pouring or emptying their contents. They come in three sizes for storing different types of food (sugar, rice, tea, vegetables…).
Omelette-ed is a new Valencia-based home accessories company, founded in 2010 by three young designers who claim to offer a new vision of design, thanks to their particular style that’s human and accessible. The brand offers all types of products, from mirrors to food containers, whose forms are simple and unpretentious.
La Mamba is a multidisciplinary studio that strives to enable its customers to understand the ideas behind each of its products, and give them a strong emotional appeal. It has worked on various projects in the fields of seating, lighting and home accessories. It’s already collaborated with Omelette-ed on other projects, such as the salt and pepper shakers called Branches, a clock called Parallels, a fruit bowl named Mamut and an eponymous line of mirrors.
