… Designed by Lievore Altherr Molina.
The contemporary furniture and design company Enea has unveiled its new version of the Lottus stool, which has a wooden frame and finish, at the recent Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair.
The Lottus stool is part of the Lottus collection of chairs, stools and tables, all created by Barcelona-based design studio Lievore Altherr Molina. It's a very versatile piece that suits domestic interiors as well as public spaces and projects. Its functional, comfortable design is found practically everywhere in the world – for example at the Zumbo patisserie at The Star in Sydney. Thanks to its new wooden frame and legs, the stool is now lightweight, natural-looking and appealingly informal.
Based in Guipúzcoa in northern Spain, Enea was founded in 1984 with the aim of producing contemporary design suited to all types of interiors: residential spaces, offices, hotels, auditoria and conference halls. Since it was set up, the firm has become one of Europe's leading manufacturers of seating for public spaces, thanks in part to its prestigious collaborations with such high-profile, experienced designers as Josep Lluscá, Gabriel Teixidó and Lievore Alhterr Molina.
