The Spanish rug firm launches new collections.
Top end contemporary rug company Now Carpets has launched five new designs from its stable of international designers.
Yumi Endo was inspired by the view of Tokyo when looking down on the city from a plane for her exquisite Akari rug, which is made from wool and viscose. The delicate pattern in the centre of the rug is intended to evoke the lights stretching out across the city at night.
Moneo Brock designed the colourful Miles rug inspired by modularity - and by the studio’s notion of what jazz musician Miles Davis might be if he were translated into a carpet….
Jose Albors’ Mire rug picks up on the Japanese thread. It’s a polyhedral design, and evokes the paper folding art of origami.
And Christian Ghion’s French Riviera wool/viscose rug is a stunning contemporary take on a classical Rococo rug design.
