Heritage – Tres Tintas Barcelona’s new collection

Designed by Pablo Piatti, it pays homage to the world of wallpaper.

Spanish designer wallpaper and fabrics company Tres Tintas Barcelona kicks off 2013 with the launch of its new collection called Heritage, designed by Argentinian artist Pablo Piatti – his first collaboration with this firm.

The Heritage collection pays tribute to the world of wallpaper, specifically revisiting the themes and motifs of 19th-century styles. Piatti’s designs invite us to take a stroll through Far Eastern gardens and landscapes and journey through the same seas as British naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace did in order to discover nature at its most exuberant and dreamlike. In short, this wallpaper collection is filled with magic, colour, texture and flocked finishes.

Heritage also includes a considered selection of highly individual, colourful murals used to decorate any type of wall or to give a stronger look to any style of interior. The murals come in standard measurements, although some can be customised to meet a client’s exact needs. The murals boast fun motifs – Chinese lanterns, silhouettes of forests, trees, plants and tropical birds, all of which seductively evoke exotic vistas.

Once again, this Catalan company has invested in collections created by prestigious, internationally renowned designers and creatives who strive to offer new perspectives on traditional wallcoverings – and transform it into covetable designer wallpaper.
