Ommar Uribe, Raúl Durá and Pedro Rivera, three members of Valencia-based design company La Mamba Studio, have just co-founded a new company, also located in Valencia, called Omelette-ed, which aims to demonstrate their passion for design via their products, whose hallmarks are simplicity and honesty.
Notable among these products is an ingenious self-watering ceramic flowerpot called Miss Roots, a design entirely hand-crafted in Spain. The plants in it are automatically watered when the ceramic’s moist, absorbent inner surface makes contact with their roots. What’s more, thanks to a water-level indicator, you can see how much water there is in the pot at any given moment, making this a highly practical product.
We integrate architecture, branding, and product design into one coherent, cross-cutting vision
