Pensilis by Herme Ciscar and Mónica García for Almerich

Spanish lighting and design reunited.

The Pensilis wall light collection, dreamt up by Herme Ciscar and Mónica García for the Valencia-based lighting company Almerich, is superbly elegant and pared-down. The light – which can be used as a single light or grouped together as lamps in different sizes or configurations –allows you to illuminate different rooms. Its understated, austere, geometric form blends perfectly with any style of interior – be it old-world, contemporary or cutting-edge. The wall light is made of metal and comes in white but can be ordered in other colours

The wall lights are made by Almerich, a high-profile lighting company in the world of classical, decorative lighting. In recent years, however, thanks to its in-house design team and to collaborations with well-known designers, it has become equally renowned for its contemporary lighting.

The Valencia-based studio of Herme Ciscar y Mónica García works in industrial, interior and graphic design, and its projects have been showcased in France, Italy, Japan and the UK. It has also collaborated with lighting firms Metalarte and Lampister, rug company Alpujarreña and with jewellery brands Swarovski and Vicente Gracia.
