A very cool new dog bowl-cum-tray.
Dog lovers are in luck, thanks to a new design called Walloff, recently created by the studio Stone Designs for the Alicante-based homeware company Vigar.
Walloff isn’t a simple dog bowl but a tray for your dog which you can serve its food on like a butler! This is not a joke but a highly practical object that helps prevent your dog leaving messy stains on your walls when it eats and drinks as so often happens when it drags its bowl about.
Walloff’s vibrant colour and cool design are a perfect fit within Vigar’s portfolio of products. Giving free rein to its imagination, Vigar reinterprets homeware in a fresh way, creating pieces that combine good design, functionality and innovative materials. In the past 50 years, Vigar has not only improved the quality of its products and made them much more practical but it has helped revolutionise the homeware market by transforming everyday objects into refreshingly unexpected, unconventional pieces which also have a strong emotional appeal. Ultimately, its objects declare war on the world of dull, grey design, offer an antidote to boredom and an aesthetic with which its international customers – based in 44 countries around the world – can closely identify with.
Founded in 1995 by Cutu Mazuelos and Eva Prego, Stone Designs develops its products in a very personal way, without worrying about constraints and outside criticism. Their products reflect their spontaneous, passionate and creative personalities. Aside from Walloff, this year they’ve designed a recycling bin called Berna for Made Design by Planning Sisplamo. This user-friendly, simple design that pairs funky colour with functionality transforms a set of waste bins into a reflection on the importance of protecting the environment.
