Tria, Mobles 114’s latest offering

Tria is the main new product launched this year by Barcelona-based company Mobles 114. Tria is a modular, free-standing or wall-hung shelving unit comprising ladder-shaped sides, various metal or wooden shelves and a set of accessories.

Thanks to its huge choice of sizes, finishes and its multitude of accessories, Tria is a versatile shelving system that’s perfectly suited to offices, home offices, living rooms, dressing rooms and kitchens.

With a view to adapting the product so that it could earn the UNE EN ISO 14006 standard for eco design, the finishes for its sides and cross-braces have been modified. Its packaging is also made of entirely recycled, 100 per cent recyclable materials.

And, when the product ceases to function properly, all its components can be recycled.

Mobles 114 was set up in 1973 by industrial designers and editors JM Massana and JM Tremoleda, who are the company’s directors. Since then, this duo have faithfully adhered to a philosophy associated with sound business values and a humanistic approach to design.
