Spanish companies' new collections impressed visitors to Heimtextil in Frankfurt, Maison & Objet in Paris, as well as as the IMM Cologne and Stockholm furniture fairs.

Heimtextil
The international textiles sector got the new year off to a flying start at Heimtextil, which takes place in January. Nearly 3,000 companies from 68 countries exhibited their latest fabrics and wallcoverings to a trade audience of 68,000 visitors, who included interior designers, hoteliers, architects and specifiers.
Spain is a major player in textiles and nine leading manufacturers exhibited at the fair in: Alhambra; Aznar’s Bon Drap; Coordonné; Reig Martí; Revert; Rioma; Textil Athenea and Textiles Vilber.
Maison & Objet
Over in Paris, and Maison & Objet celebrated its 20th anniversary this year. The January interiors and lifestyle fair attracted just over 78,000 visitors – 49 per cent of whom were French – and 3,194 exhibitors, 45 per cent of whom were French. It is a very international show that attracts buyers and exhibitors from all parts of the world - and his year saw an increase in visitors from Asia and the Pacific region in particular.
Spanish exhibitors included furniture brands Vondom, Treku, RS Barcelona, Ondaretta and Expormim; textiles companies Coordonné, Equipo DRT and Teixidors; decorative porcelain brand Lladró, silicone cookware brand Lekué, clock maker Nomon, and PCM Design, which works with young/emerging Spanish designers.
IMM Cologne
Imm Cologne + Living Kitchen is a huge interior design fair that this year attracted 146,000 visitors from 138 countries. Spanish exhibitors included quartz surface giant Cosentino, Treku, Sancal, Gan, Ondarreta and outdoor furniture brands Expormim, Gandía Blasco, Point and Vondom.
Stockholm Furniture Fair
Scandinavian design influences are everywhere, so it's no surprise that the Stockholm Furniture Fair is becoming a major event in the international design calendar. This year a large contingent of Spanish furniture and lighting companies exhibited at the show, including: Akaba; AVP by Imasoto; Cosentino; Enea;, Expormim; Gancedo; Gandía Blasco; Gastón y Daniela; Kriskadecor; Leds C4; Marset; Sellex; Viccarbe, and Teixidors.
