Capdell chair for Hong Kong hotel chain
* The following article is an excerpt from Design in/from Spain magazine for smartphones and tablets.
The design team chose the Concord chair by Claesson Koivisto Rune for the restaurants in the group's two luxury hotels on the island, East and The Upper House.
Concord – which has a Good Design award from the Chicago Athenaeum - is an armchair with an upholstered seat and wooden back. It can be supplied with either wooden legs, a sled steel base or a swivel base.
Swire Hotels has three brands of luxury hotel: The House Collective, East, and Chapter Hotels. It has a total of eight hotels across Hong Kong, China, the UK and the US.
