Antoni Arola designed the light for Santa & Cole in the late '90s but it has never gone out of demand for large spaces that need a fixture which is elegant and unobtrusive but which gives out a lot of light.
Six pendants hang high in the magnificent vaulted library and staff at Glénat say they agree with the description of Nimba as 'shining light on the centre of nowhere and at the same time radiating light in all directions'.
A delicate, floating circle of light, the Nimba pendant light combines simplicity with advanced technology and high efficiency.
The Sainte Cécile convent was built in 1624. It's been carefully restored by architects Jacques Scittori and Patrick Charra, who retained much of the original architecture. All images by Bernard Ciancia.
