Dekton is thin but virtually unbreakable and it's made by putting natural stone through a heat and compacting process. It can be used to clad buildings, line swimming pools, or used in interiors for wall and floor cladding, staircases and for worktops. It's been used in projects around the world, such as the Baku Heydar International Airport, where the front entrance walkways have been clad with Dekton is various shades of grey.
The Spanish Pavilion at this year's Milan Expo also used almost 1,000m2 of Dekton for flooring, counter tops and on the staircase. The Pavilion was designed by Barcelona architects b720 Fermin Vazquez to showcase the best in Spanish architecture and building materials.
