10th Anniversary of BOY awards
Over in New York, Interior Design Magazine's BOY (Best of Year) Awards turned 10 just before Christmas, so the 2015 awards ceremony was even more ebullient than usual. It was a successful night for Spanish companies Vibia, Vondom, nanimarquina and Mosaics Martí, which took awards in several categories.
Maison & Objet
Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet was honoured at January's Maison & Objet show in Paris with the Designer of the Year award.
IF Design Awards
Germany's international iF Design awards have been highly coveted since they were launched in 1954. The 2016 awards were presented at a ceremony in Hamburg, after a lengthy judging process that assessed 5,295 entries from designers in 53 countries.
2015 EDIDA Awards
Elle Deco's International Design Awards was launched in 2003 and sees the editors-in- chief of the magazines in 25 countries gather in Milan to choose top products for awards in 13 categories.
FX International Design Awards
London-based design magazine FX has held its prestigious awards ceremony at the capital's splendid Grosvenor House since the late '90s and it is an event attended by designers and architects from all over the world.
