Nomon, a leading company that develops and manufactures exclusive wall clocks for homes, offices and public spaces, has just launched its decorative new ideas for this year. These include its Única and Momentos collections, which consist of functional pieces that create a harmonious whole with Nomon’s clocks.

Única comprises shelves that users can combine to create a personalised design. This versatile, sophisticated collection, made of walnut, is characterised by a contemporary classicism that suits all spaces, tastes and lifestyles. It’s handmade by local craftspeople, and its subtle variations in colour and its material’s natural grain are part of their charm, accentuating its unique, inimitable character. Its innovative and functional design allows people to create their own personalised design in an easy, intuitive way.

Momentos, meanwhile, is made up of a mirror-cum-shelf for hallways or dressing rooms, a dressing table, console and side table. They are functional, versatile, aesthetically stunning pieces intended for special spaces and occasions. The hallway or dressing room shelf and console stand out for their audacious design whose distinguishing feature is their single leg, which conceals their wall fixing. They thereby play a visually entertaining game that seems to defy the laws of physics. The dressing table, which has been carefully designed with smooth materials and soft contours, is intended for a sensitive, contemporary woman, and the table can also be used as a coffee or bedside table. Accompanying these collections are the Jazz, Swing and Mini Barcelona wall clocks — the latter a smaller version of Nomon’s most iconic clock, Barcelona.

Nomon specialises in indoor clocks, and was founded after industrial designer José María Reina and jewellery designer Angels Arrufat joined forces to restore the wall clock’s prominent place in the home and the dignity it had in the past, reworking it as a prestigious, distinctive piece for homes and offices.
