Paparajote Factory brings out Breath

Spanish studio Paparajote Factory, which designs and manufactures homeware, recently unveiled Breath, a special edition of its best-known cushion designs made of environmentally friendly, soft, matt leather.

Paparajote Factory is a brand with a strong Mediterranean identity that is also inspired by Nordic culture. It designs and produces its goods in Spain, paying the utmost attention to detail, from initial design, fabrics, manufacturing to branding. Its collections are intended for modern families, while its standout range is for children. Breath is its first specifically contract collection; its colours and sizes can be customised, allowing it to suit every kind of project.

This multidisciplinary studio was founded by Pilar Larrotcha and Sonia de la Iglesia in Murcia. Its name refers to a traditional Murcian dessert made from a lemon tree leaf dipped in batter, deep-fried and sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. Its designs have a graphic element that connects it with its origin, arouses emotions and establishes a bond with the user. Its designs, which create dreamlike and playful worlds, are targeted at children and the contract market. Its homeware includes cushions, pouffes, mugs, bunting and tote bags.
