B.lux and Stone Designs light up cafe at Coca-Cola’s Madrid HQ

Coca Cola's corporate red looms large, combined with natural oak finishes to achieve an invigorating, fun yet relaxed ambience. B.lux's LED Castle and Scout suspension fixtures were chosen because they encapsulate the mood of the cafeteria and complement each other aesthetically.

Castle, designed by Stone Designs, is a circular light available in three widths. An opal white PMMA diffuser sits in a shallow metal frame with crenellations that allow lights to be slotted together in different configurations. For the cafeteria the metal frames were finished in red and oak. Scout, also by Stone Designs, is a more overtly fun lamp that resembles a large upside-down teacup. Made from metal with a glass diffuser, it gives a bright yet warm light and for this project the shades were finished in red and in white.

B.lux, which has its own factory in the Basque Country, has been manufacturing high quality, innovative lighting since 1980.
