Santa & Cole celebrates its 30th birthday

Never a company to do the ordinary, the party was organised as an 'edible installation' by Barcelona food event designer Pepi de Boissieur, called ‘Light Without Sunlight’. So as partygoers moved from light to light, they'd find a bowl of a Mediterranean delicacy to eat under each fixture.

Santa & Cole classics on show included the Básica table lamp collection; the Cirio Circular pendant lamp and Chandelier and the BlancoWhite table lamp.

Santa & Cole develops its own designs but also brings back to life mid-century design classics, particularly pieces by Miguel Milá.They include his 1961 Asa light, the 1962 Cesta and the 1961 Americana light. Retro furniture pieces produced by Santa & Cole include the Cadaqués chair and footstool designed in 1959 by Alfonso Milá and Federico Correa.
