We discover the new decorative proposals by Coordonné

Coordonné, the Spanish wallpaper and fabrics company, recently unveiled its three wallpaper collections — Anima, Komorebi and Tales — which join various new Asian-inspired fabrics that the company has launched this year — Himalaya, Katmandu and Nepal.

The Anima collection has been designed by five creatives — Andrea Zarraluqui, Abraham Menéndez, Brianda Fitz-James Stuart, Isabel Martínez and Miranda Makaroff, who are talented designers, illustrators, DJs, photographers and bloggers. Anima features an explosion of creativity, colour, techniques and shapes. And from five different creative visions springs this versatile, audacious collection, which reveals the inner world of each one of them, allowing us to give free rein to our imagination and immerse us in their magic.

Komorebi’s name springs from the Japanese term for sunshine filtered through leaves on trees. ‘Nature, the forest, trees, leaves… Sunlight at dawn bathes all things with light and brilliance, its warm touch awakening young leaves that are still dormant and softly caressing the tops of trees. Every day, the forest wakes up in a different way, but its silver and gold foliage always shines.’ These take inspiration from the essence of fables and from a part of the figure of an animal to tell tales with an educational aim. Comprising illustrated papers and murals, the collection shows evocative scenes with morals that continue to grow. Different animals, paired with stars, triangles and bubbles, that will set the imagination of young minds free. Delicate, brightly coloured strokes that are part of a fun, innocent journey, an adventure full of values, fantasy and learning. The illustrations are the work of Johina García Concheso.

This year, the Spanish brand has also launched its collections, Himalaya, Jodphur, Katmandu and Nepal — an extensive range of upholostery fabrics boasting smooth textures and prints inspired by the East. What stands about them is their geometry, volume and floral motifs and they come in an extensive palette of colours that will give your home that desirable, unique personality.
