Cosentino is involved in the creation of sculptural ping-pong table 10 LAYERS

Ping-pong table 10 LAYERS with its Silestone® top is the latest idea from Cosentino. Created by British designer Ron Arad, it is new format for the company with a twist on its customary usage of this special quartz. The company making the table is Cuellar Arquitectura del Mármol, which specialises in bespoke natural stone and other similar products.
    
The original design has a curved surface to slow the game down and make rallies longer. Set on bronze and stainless steel legs, ten 10 Silestone® slabs have been sculpted in four different colours: Iconic White, Kensho (light grey), Cemento Spa (dark grey) and Negro Tebas (black).

Ron Arad came up with the idea on a visit to Cosentino’s HQ in Cantoria (Almería). While strolling through the plant, he wondered whether it might be possible to create some other way to enjoy this unique material, apart from Cosentino’s more typical kitchen worktops and bathrooms.
