The Spanish company iSiMAR’s metal furniture graces bars, leisure and tourist facilities around the world. We unveil some of their latest projects in the USA, the UK and Croatia.
New York’s Rockefeller Center, one of the city’s biggest shopping, tourist, leisure and cultural centres, showcases the MONACO chair collection, and features OLIVO stools and BOLONIA chairs at its colourful Upper West Side rooftop terrace. The poolside clubroom at The Shoreline Solé Mia, in Laguna, Miami, features pieces from the firm’s versatile collections: the LAGARTO modular sofa, upholstered stools and chairs from the OLIVO collection, SEVILLA chairs and CAPRI and MAX tables. This Florida apartment complex is located on the shore of a 7-acre clear water tropical lagoon..
Back in Europe; CAPRI and TARIFA collections were used to furnish London’s Devon House which offers short-term accommodation and boasts impressive views over the stunning St Katharine Docks. While on the terrace of the city’s KuPP café-restaurant, chairs from the BIARRITZ collection complement the Nordic style of this eatery to perfection. The terrace of Egoist bar in the Croatian capital Zagreb, which hosts many events, has also been fitted out with BOLONIA chairs and NOSTRUM tables. OLIVO stools and NOSTRUM high tables can be found in the bar’s cocktail bar area.
Since 1964, the Spanish firm iSiMAR has been designing and manufacturing metal wire and galvanised steel furniture. Available in 30 colours, the range – which is sturdy enough to withstand damp and/or seaside environments – is designed to be stackable, and allows many pieces to be easily stored and transported. The company exports to over 45 countries from its factory in Navarre, has a permanent office in New York and branch offices in London and Mexico.
