Vibia brightens lounges at Rome’s Fiumicino and Ciampino airports

Designer lighting from Vibia brightens Avia Partner’s VIP passenger lounges at Rome’s Fiumicino and Ciampino airports. These spaces were redesigned by the Up to You Studio, a creative agency based in Barcelona and Hamburg which specialises in global design projects the world over.

Vibia’s designs are found in Terminal 3 at Rome's Fiumicino Airport. eShowcased in the Star Alliance VIP passenger lounge are the Mayfair table lamp created by Diego Fortunato, the Pin floor lamp designed by Ichiro Iwasaki, as well as an artwork called Puck Wall Art – an installation of organic orbs reminiscent of a solar eclipse – by Jordi Vilardell. Also in this space, but at the bar area, are Wireflow Lineal hanging lamps designed by Arik Levy. Their geometric shapes harmonise with the shelving decorating the bar. In the Le Anfore VIP lounge, the Wireflow Chandelier provides the space with a stunning focal point. This model was also chosen to light the Avia VIP lounge, along with a white Mayfair lamp which competes the design of the room.

In Rome’s small Ciampino Airport, the Up to You Studio also redesigned the Avia Partner lounge for pilots and cabin crews. To illuminate this area, the studio from Barcelona chose to use Mayfair table lamps and a Pin floor lamp, resulting in a contemporary and cosy lounge.
