Vibia's Lighting Fixtures Shine at Canopy Jackson Square in San Francisco

Vibia’s designer lights shine in facilities around the world. And one of its latest projects in USA, carried out in 2018, takes us to San Francisco’s downtown historic district, where we find Canopy Jackson Square, a creative coworking space designed by Yves Behar and Amir Mortazavi of the South African design studio M-Projects.

This innovative coworking environment, covering more than 1,200 square meters, is made up of elegant work and rest areas located on a single open floor that stands out for its open and contemporary design. This project reinvents the traditional workspace to turn it into an environment defined by its spectacular geometric lines and natural materials, such as marble floors and tables, wooden ceilings and exposed concrete.

And to light up this project, the design studio chose the Wireflow and the Wireflow Linear lighting fixtures, designed by Arik Levy for Vibia; the perfect complement to the modern and ergonomic furniture equipping this facility.

At the entrance, we find the Wireflow Lineal pendant lamp, featuring a two-dimensional hexagonal silhouette, with elegant black cables and a structure of lacquered metal bars. The delicate profile drawn by its fine lines, balances the weight of the wood covering the space. Also, suspended above the table in a meeting room, this lamp creates an elegant focal point, serving as a sheer tapestry made of fine cables.

The lightweight architecture of the Wireflow lamp lights up several private offices, underlining the geometry of the space. This piece is the contemporary interpretation of the timeless chandelier. Fixed to the ceiling’s wooden slats, the Wireflow metal structure produces a fascinating combination of materials.
