“Scènes d’ intérieur: le design espagnol à l’honneur” exhibition in París 2019
We start the second half of the year full of energy and eager to show our next events and the news of the most international Spanish design companies.
On November 11, we will organize in Cologne (Germany) an exhibition on Spanish design so that German architects and interior designers know the latest proposals for home design and "contract" offered by the companies. This product exhibition will be complemented by two conferences on Spanish design, given by prestigious architects who will talk about current matters related to architecture and/or new trends in Spanish design, as well as their application to architecture and interior design projects.
And a few days later, from November 8 to 12, we will be at the Downtown Design Dubai show for the second time, with a Spain Space, where nine Spanish companies will be exhibiting, curated by Spanish architect Juan Roldan Martín. This show has been held in person for 7 years (held virtually last year due to Covid) and has become a key meeting point for Middle Eastern architects, interior designers and real estate developers looking for design and high-end products.
In the same month, from November 14 to 15, we will participate in the increasingly prestigious BDNY show, with an Official Spanish Pavilion, in which 15 Spanish design companies will be exhibiting. More than 9,500 North American architects, designers and purchasing executives will attend this event, which this year coincides in dates and fairgrounds with two other major events: ICFF and WantedDesign Manhattan, making the Javits Center the largest global design platform during these two days.
And to end the year, we have two exhibitions planned in Tokyo and Paris.
From December 8 to 10, at the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo, we will organize an exhibition and technical conference on Spanish home design companies aimed at Japanese interior designers/architects and the contract channel. This exhibition will be curated and designed by the Japanese company Iroco Design and will feature 9 furniture and lighting companies. The technical day will consist of a seminar and a networking session after the seminar in which, the participating Spanish companies will be able to interact with the Japanese professionals attending the event.
And on December 14, we will hold another exhibition of Spanish design products in Paris aimed at French architects and interior designers, curated by the Architectures À Vivre magazine. The exhibition concept is created by the magazine, which selected curator Maëlle Campagnoli and designer Sandra Biaggi for this project. The pieces will be mounted lightly and ephemerally to respect and enhance the conditions of the historic building in which it will be held: the residence of the Spanish Ambassador in Paris. It is the second edition of this exhibition, which already took place in 2019, in this same building, loaded with historical-artistic heritage, 16 Spanish companies participated exhibiting their products under the slogan “Scènes d’intérieur: le design espagnol à l’honneur”.
You are invited to participate in these events, and we encourage you to follow us on our social networks for live information on these activities.
