Interior Design magazine revealed the winners of this year's "Best of Year" (BoY) awards a few days ago. Of the fourteen Spanish brands that were finalists, three of them won this award: Vibia won in the "Architectural lighting" category with its "Sticks" luminaire created by Arik Levi, Andreu World won in "Contract seating" for its "Adela Rex" chair without hardware or screws, designed by Philippe Starck, and Cosentino won in the "Solid surfaces" category for its "Sunlit Days" collection by Silestone.
This year's Best of Year awards ceremony was hosted by magazine editor-in-chief Cindy Allen, with a live presentation on DesignTV® by SANDOW during "Best of Design Week," December 6-10. These awards, which this year celebrate their sixteenth anniversary, recognize the best designs by manufacturers, designers and architects from around the world.
In addition, the Andreu World furniture company has won nine more awards in the second half of this year: 7 "Best of NeoCon" awards, 1 "Interior Design HiP award" and 1 "MetropolisLikes” award.
