Women and Leadership in Spanish Home Furnishings

Throughout the year we will be publishing a series of stories on women who run Spanish companies in the main home furnishings sectors: furniture, lighting, home textiles, household goods, and decorative accessories.  

The articles will showcase the leadership and charisma of these businesswomen, who show the world the increasing prominence of women in driving sectors that have traditionally been led by men.

We will sit down with them to discuss the role of women in the development of these industries, their evolution over the last few years, and the main obstacles they face. They will tell us about their personal experience, both in Spain and internationally, and will share their particular and enriching vision of what women bring to the leadership of these companies.

We will talk to businesswomen who have created their own companies, women who have taken on the responsibility of managing the next generation of family-owned firms, or business owners who, in addition to management, perform other more creative functions such as product design.
